Wayfering 004 :: Cinco de Mayo

When it's your friend's day off of work and the day is beautiful and warm enough to go out in a dress, you head towards a restaurant with patio tables! :D

What better way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo than with lots of food and shopping? Haha, typical girl stuff right?

Hopefully spring won't go by too quickly this year. As much as I love summer, nothing compares to the mix of just the right amount of warm and cool of Spring. Sitting outside in the fresh air with the warm sun shining down on you, and a tickling breeze that's not too cool - luxurious. One of my girlfriends and I decided to indulge in some good food, girl talk, and some retail therapy at the outlets. (Besides the nice view of the river, I highly recommend the #25 burger from Tony C's.)

To be honest, we didn't even realize it was Cinco de Mayo until halfway throughout the day. So, to continue the celebration, we stopped by Border Cafe on Route 1 for some "Corona de Mayo" and fajitas.

And of course we went shopping again after dinner :) I personally don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo as I don't have an attachment to the holiday (I actually had to look up the origins of it). However, it doesn't mean one should not partake in the happiness of the festivities and drink beer with adorable little festive ponchos. Plus, the weather was fantastic!

Hope everyone had a great Cinco de Mayo!
