Hello 2013 !

With having the whole month of January to think my resolutions for 2013,  and with this being the last semester of my undergraduate career, I thought more about how I spend my time. For 2013, and years onward, I want to spend less time thinking of excuses not to do things, and spend that time actually doing things; like working out, spending more time with family, or sleeping at a reasonable time that isn't a few hours before dawn. There will be no more "it's finals week" to be an excuse for bad eating  habits or horrible sleeping patterns, and there will be no "I didn't have time to keep track of my budget". There will be more responsibilities and less free time to spend with those I love. Especially since we are graduating in a couple months (ahhh, scary thought!), I want to spend as much time with friends as possible before we all go our separate ways.
After a visit from my friend Timmie (who I haven't seen in a year and lives across the entire globe) I realized that improbable is not impossible. I was afraid I would never see her again, but I was delightfully proven wrong! :D
I also realized what I haven't discovered what's already around me. For example, the park next to my school; I've been there once, passed by it a few times, but never really looked at it until Timmie wanted to go there and take a few pictures. The more I think about things, I less I do them, so I'm going to try the whole "think less, live more" concept. I feel silly not having realized this sooner, but better late than never; and better reminded before it's too late. I mean come on! That's a gorgeous sunset! ;)
I hope everyone is doing well with their new year's resolutions! :)

Good-bye 2012 !

Hello, hello! 2013 is officially and fully here. We can no longer avoid the fact that another year has passed us by. Considering this, I thought it'd be time to start that blog I always wanted to post, but never got around to. With the arrival of 2013, we reminisce, review, and restart.  And of course there's always that new year's resolution we set for ourselves. First, we must all say good-bye to 2012...
2012 was full of...

BIG BANG in concert ! ! !

VEGAS, BABY!

Interning at CU Boulder and hiking some Rocky Mountains!
Having to say a few Congratulatory good-byes (I'll see you agains) to some good friends...
Surviving another year as a Chemical Engineering Major!
If I had to choose one favorite from 2012, it would hands down be...

Studying abroad in Thailand...

Besides the project (report, presentation, and all),
Thailand was...

Land of the most beautiful beaches I was lucky enough to see!

Kitchen to some of the most fresh and delicious food ever!
The best tan of my life!
The place to go for a cultured shopping experience!

And home to some of the most amazing people I was lucky enough to ever meet! It's incredible how much of what you learn about others can teach you about yourself. It's also incredible how close you can grow with people you only know for 10 weeks. I Miss them so much (and Thailand too)! There were more memories in 2012, but the little things can never really be fully captured on camera, can they? Anyhoo, with fully saying good-bye to (but not forgetting) 2012, we can fully embrace  the new year.
A new year always lets us breathe easier knowing we have another 365 days to do the things we've wanted to in the past, try new things, and continue doing the things that we love. Whatever our goals are, I wish everyone the best! When it comes down to it, it's always the little things that make us inexplicably happy. Though we let go of 365 days of our lives, we have 365 more to look forward to in 2013!
